Hi from OKYA .

OKYA was founded by Oliwia Stewart, a designer with eighteen years of experience and a deep conviction that a home should feel completely and unmistakably yours. Not just visually, but in every practical sense.

My career spans two worlds that rarely meet. Half of it was built in luxury residential design, working on high-end homes where every detail is personal, considered and held to the highest standard. The other half was spent at the forefront of large-scale commercial design, working with world-leading studios on ambitious briefs across London and Europe - clients including WPP and Nuveen. That world brought rigorous spatial thinking, a different understanding of how people inhabit environments, and the discipline to manage complex projects without losing sight of the detail.

I also hold a Master's degree in exhibition design from the Fine Arts Academy in Warsaw, a discipline built entirely on the idea that space can tell a story and shape how people feel. That thinking runs through everything I do.

Very few designers bring all of this together. It is what makes working with OKYA a genuinely distinctive experience.

I work with a small number of clients, across London and the South East. The work I do requires full attention, and every project receives it.

You bring the vision. I bring everything else.

My Approach

Good design reveals itself slowly, in the way a room feels at different times of day, in the ease of a morning routine, in the quiet satisfaction of a space that simply works.

Every project begins with understanding the brief, the building and the people who will live in it. Every property has a natural disposition: the way light moves through it, the proportions never quite made the most of, the spatial potential waiting for someone to see it clearly. My job is to find that potential and draw it out, then layer over it a design that is specific to you and no one else.

I do not work from a signature style. What you will find instead is a consistency of thinking: that every decision, however small, either serves the whole or undermines it, and that beauty and function are not in tension but are, when the work is done well, the same thing.

My commercial background means timelines are held, costs are transparent and you are never left wondering what comes next. My residential instinct means the work never loses sight of what it is actually for: a home that feels completely, unmistakably yours.
